Apparently Sip and Paint events are growing very popular in the UK. One of our friends daughters had a great time doing one for her hen party.

There are so many creative people here and I have a lovely circle of friends who are all so talented and we enjoy getting together and crafting.

So we decided to have a little Sip and Paint session of our own.

We all had to paint our own version of a picture that was chosen by the group collectively and we basically ate snacks, drunk wine and painted our canvases.

It was really good to see how different people interperate the painting and the different styles we all had as well as different painting techniques.

So far we have had Macrame workshops, some of us went on a silver smithing course where we made rings and we have a few more sessions in the pipeline to learn new things together.

The next one is Gelli printing which I’d never heard of before but it will be great fun giving it a try and learning how it’s done.
